In 1758 General John Forbes leads yet another campaign against the French at the forks of the Ohio. At his side are few native allies. Among them are warriors of the Cherokee and Catawba nations. They are the eyes of the army keeping careful watch on the trails west of the Alleghenies, often coming within sight of Fort Duquesne itself. Here we see a single silent warrior as he keeps a patient watch over the French across the Monongahela.
