Griffing is best known for his images of the Eastern Indian, but he's also finding a serious audience among members of Celtic organizations who take pride in their Scottish heritage. Providing more creative inspiration for the painter is his own Scottish ancestry. Griffing traveled to Scotland in 1996 to research his lineage.
